Rebecca has been performing Newborn photography, for the last SIXTEEN years.
In the UK, Rebecca was a member of BANPAS. An organisation that recognises excellence in newborn portraiture & competent imagery of babies, but most importantly, newborn safety in posing.
Ideally babies should be photographed younger than 3 weeks old.
Babies this age are still sleepy for most of the shoot, enjoy being snuggled up & cosy & are generally far more settled than an older newborn.
I use natural light wherever possible ( i just need a small area in your home near a window of good natural light). I have props and baskets ,blankets, , wraps, headbands, background & floor that i will bring with me.
I am mobile, so i can come to you for the shoot. Newborn shoots are available for the Gold Coast area, & over the border to Tweed NSW.
Travel to Brisbane will be subject to a small extra charge.
Baby and Mom are obviously most comfortable in their own surroundings. So for your convenience and comfort, I come to you.
If baby remains nice and settled, then i will aim to do a few natural family shots with parents and or/siblings too. ( if you wish) At no extra charge :). I often use your bed at home for those, or have you stood against a a plain wall at home.
Session length can vary, as all babies are different. Typically, you can expect me to be with you around usually 2 hours, depending how settled baby is.
You get a USB of images to keep..All images are edited for you .Amount of images you get all depends how settled baby is. ALL babies are different. But usually in excess of 80 images on your USB
