You know, sometimes the universe conspires in such amazing ways!
Ashleigh contacted me way back in 2018. She was living in the UK, but had recently started her own emigration to Australia journey with her partner , James.
Ashleigh found me via a hashtag on instagram, as i had made the move to Aus myself 2 years prior.
She actually messaged me for advice on the best company to fly her dog over with.. ( as we flew our 2 dogs over from the UK too).
We stayed in touch via insta, and Ashleigh + James emigrated to Aus.
Ashleigh + James booked me for their wedding in 2019..But then Covid hit, and the border closed…So all their family who still reside in the UK, wouldnt be able to attend :(.
After 2 postponements, they finally tied the knot on 11.12.22, at the most beautiful Tiffanys in Maleny.
A beautiful re-union too for all the family that they hadnt seen since their big move across the world!.So nice that they could all attend and celebrate with them at last!
Always worth the 2.5 hour drive for me from the GC, to see those stunning Glass house mountains!
A truly stunning day. Up there with my all time fave weddings , in 15+ years.
What a privilege it was to shoot at One Tree hill one last time too. One tree hill closed for public use on Feb 1st 🙁 Very sad, but what a dream to shoot there twice over the years!
The lconic single sour cherry tree, with the most epic view of all the glass house mountains, will forever remain a special place for many many couples, including Ashleigh + James.
Knowing that this spot cant be used anymore, makes their pics even more magical.
