Brooke & Jamie are an awesome couple! They married at the end of February, in the week when Tropical cyclone Oma was headed our way! eeeek!. Their family were visiting from overseas, so the wedding was to be a lovely family reunion too! No time for cyclones in the Wedding schedule lol
We had some seriously big waves that week!. Pro surfers were in their element!.It was really amazing to watch, but not so great for an upcoming beach wedding!
Brooke & Jamie had planned to marry on the beach in Currumbin, but when the waves got crazy big, heavy rain forecast and the winds were super strong, they quickly decided on a Plan B- and what an awesome Plan B it was too! A wedding in a Brewery!
Balter is a fantastic local multi award winning brewery. They make and serve the most amazing beer in an awesome cool location too. It was so good of Balter to be so accomodating to Brooke & Jamie’s needs at such short notice!
Brooke & Jamie’s married surname is BEER. So a wedding in a brewery couldn’t have been more perfect! haha
Brooke looked absolutely stunning, gorgeous dress & carried beautiful fragrant flowers. She walked down the aisle with her incredibly proud brother beside her to give her away. Beautiful little daughter Cadence throwing petals ahead of her.

After the ceremony & drinks & pics, the wind dropped a little so i took the opportunity to drive Bride & Groom to the beach at sunset, so they could have some pics in the original place they intended to marry, had cyclone Oma not passed our way.
Im a true believer of everything happens for a reason. The fact tropical cyclone Oma threatened to come our way and that therefore changed the path of their day was all just meant to be.
It was just a most perfect day, for the most lovely couple.
